At VERGENOEG, we are committed to offering a variety of accommodation options and services tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals aged 55 and older. Our professional staff ensures high-quality care in a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
Service Centre Hours
Monday to Thursday: 07h00 – 15h00
Resident Requirements
- All residents must be registered members
- Members receive a membership card
- All membership fees are recorded on the card
Activities
A full monthly calendar of activities is available to all residents
Transport Services
- Monday to Friday: 05h30 – 13h00
- Free transport every Friday to Waverley Plaza
- First Friday of each month: Free transport to Jakaranda Centre and Gezina Galleries
Meals for Residents
- Menus available

Service Centre contributes:
R70 for dinner
R25 for breakfast
R15 for soup per liter - Guests are welcome at an additional cost
Medical Services
- Medical assistance is available during the week for self-sufficient residents
- Regular visits to residents
- Blood pressure monitoring, injections, urine and blood glucose testing
- Emergency information forms are placed visibly in each unit
- New prescriptions must be submitted at least every 6 months
Clubhouse Facilities
- Clubhouse facilities available for use at only R100
